A surprise early announcement of the winners of the Emerging Talent Competition was made this week. At the end of the third night of the finals, at Pilton Working Men's Club, Michael Eavis took the stage to reveal the following.

Liz Green gets the honour of opening proceedings on the Other Stage on Friday morning. Eavis said, "The toughest part of this job is to disappoint so many excellent bands."
