Not content with turning the Other Stage into a non-stop luvvie-fest during Babyshambles’ set at Glastonbury, Pete Doherty has revealed that he and celebrity girlfriend Kate Moss actually got out and saw some of the festival at first hand. However, they were both wearing comedy disguises. “Obviously walking around can be a bit of a hassle, so we got up in disguise," he told 6 Music recently.. "I had a poncho with a long black wig, she had long black hair and make-up. We had a bit of a dance and it was alright.”

Sharp-eyed TV viewers may have spotted the former Libertine and his gf sneak join the Iggy And The Stooges stage invasion on Saturday night. "I got up there, I was jumping about and all that, and I saw this QPR shirt in the midst of all the turmoil," he chortled. "I made a bee-line for it and grabbed hold of him, and said ‘Yeah! Come on you ‘R’s!’"

One can sincerely hope that Doherty was the character that Iggy claimed was “dressed as a clown”. It’s a great image, isn’t it?
