Glastonbury stars sign up for Shelter's charity campaign

While torrential downpours threatened to wash away the messages of support customising housing charity Shelter's Wall of Shame, their campaigners remained defiant in signing people up to their Britain Needs More Homes campaign - in total more than 2,000 people added their name to the protest.

Jim Bob
(from Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine) busked at the Wall on Friday, before Joss Stone headlined the Shelter day at the Leftfield Stage. Sunday was the busiest day at the Left Field, when Shelter's chief executive Adam Sampson shared a platform with Tony Benn and participated in a debate, "Another World Is Possible."

Tony Benn, Michael Eavis, Mark Thomas, Keith Allen, Billy Bragg and Mark Ronson added their name to the Wall of Shame, while The Twang, The Rakes, CSS, The Kooks and Sunshine Underground were some of the many bands who sported Shelter branded wristbands throughout the festival.
